The Mistletoe

This project was a creation from a commission for Fritz Fryer. They were looking for a light shade inspired by Herefordshire and focused on sustainability, which led me to explore the mistletoe plant’s shape and a geometric interpretation of it. I followed this by exploring sustainability by investigating a mixture of glass bottles and glass sheets to create the panels. This project was a significant catalyst for me as an artist, as it made a jumping point for me to delve into glass.
