Movement of Water

For my final degree show, I wanted to create a product that promotes the skills I have acquired during the last three years. Inspired by nature, particularly the River Wye, I intended to create art that encompasses light, colour and movement. I wanted my bowls to be in “family” groups of different sizes to express the changing water I see flowing outside my window each day. Each surface is hand painted and layered to construct organically shaped bowls that are aesthetically pleasing, tactile, and functional.
