“I want to create spots of beauty whether that be in the home or on the body that inspires colour and life in the viewer”
Since I was a child, colour has been the way for me to express myself. This stems from watching my mother paint large canvases with richly hued oil paints, inspiring me to be a multimedia glass artist. My main influence is nature’s movements and patterns.
As the natural world is such an important reference for my art, I strive to be conscious of the environment and sustainable when possible in my work. My home in Symonds Yat is my safe space meaning that I want to create functional items that bring the beauty of the countryside indoors and design artwork to be held up and examined, so the object’s allure is viewed from all angles.
